The HimmelsREICH, which literally translates as "heaven", is a little piece of paradise on Earth at the Tuxerhof. Spread across 300 m², this alpine "living room" has large glass fronts with fine views of the mountains as well as a spacious terrace perfect for soaking up the sun in summer.

The reading lounge in the HimmelREICH is the perfect place for guests who enjoy settling down with a good book on holiday. Quiet, light, modern and cosy. The XXL couch, winged chairs and lots of other cosy places give visitors the right surroundings to immerse themselves in their favourite piece of world literature or simply browse the internet in peace.

The HimmelREICHs has been designed as a living room within the Tuxerhof – a place where everyone can feel at home. What you do there is up to you. How about a game of chess? Or a glass of wine? Or simply a good chat with the people you love most? In winter there is an open fire roaring all day, creating a cosy atmosphere far from the snow and cold outside.

Here comes the sun! At the Tuxerhof we have a large terrace with sun recliners and beanbags where guests can enjoy the warm sunshine until the last rays disappear behind the glacier. The HimmelREICH terrace is the perfect place to get away from it all for a few moments to look over the village as you enjoy the sound of birdsong and the scent of freshly cut grass. Heavenly!

Holidays are a great chance to re-discover lots of things which you normally don't have time for - like jigsaws and puzzles! As you enter the HimmelREICH you will find a table with various games, incluing jigsaws and puzzles, which you are welcome to use. Have a go and remind yourself of what made it so much fun all those years ago when you were a child!
