The Zillertal offers numerous other options that offer an unforgettable time surrounded by white winters. We have 30 kilometers of meticulously prepared cross-country ski trails of varying degrees of difficulty, as well as 68 kilometers of winter hiking trails for short to long hikes. Another wonderful way to explore untouched winter landscapes is on a snowshoe hike. And many a hearty evening in a mountain hut may end with a sledge ride down one of the three natural tracks in the Tuxertal.

As we are situated right at the foot of the Rastkogelbahn, the Zillertal's largest ski area is just 150m away. This means that the last run of the day leads right to the front door and directly into our wellness oasis, the Hexenkessl après-ski restaurant, or your room - ski-in ski-out, just as you wish.

If you prefer to dash through the powdery snow in good company, you can always join one of our ski guides, who set off several times a week to the Hintertux Glacier.

The Hintertux Glacier, Austria's only year-round ski area, guarantees the best snow you can find. Each day, 62 kilometers of lovely slopes of all levels of difficulty await you. Whatever the season, nothing stands in the way of your dream ski vacation.

Our ski room is located directly in the basement of the house, offering numerous individual lockers for your precious ski equipment . If the snow is good, the last run of the day can even take you right into the front door.
