Spa holidays in the Austrian Tyrol are a special experience. Here at the family-run Tuxerhof we know how to make guests of all ages feel at home from the moment they arrive.

Highlights include child-friendly spa facilities like our rooftop outdoor pool, large indoor pool and chillout areas as well as special spa treatments and massages for kids. The saunas are open to children aged 12 years and older.

Yoga nidra for youngsters

These sessions teach children the most important exercises and positions in a fun and playful way.

Children learn to understand their own body and breathing. It is an excellent contrast to the action and adventure of daily life at school and kindergarten.

Dogs & Monkeys

Imaginaton, creativity, movement and dexterity are four of the most important things promoted through yoga. Almost all asanas (positions) have their own animal-themed name. Kids will therefore find themselves doing the Cobra, Dog, Fish, Monkey, Dolphin or even the challnging Crow.

This makes yoga a fun activity even for young children – and supports the positive flow of energy through the body. Our yoga instructor Eva also has a few little surprises in store for our youngest guests.

Back and neck massage with alpine herbs followed by singing bowls treatment

Yes! Our instructor Eva has lots of great ideas for teaching children of all ages the basics of yoga. The approach is fun, relaxed and playful with lots of stories focusing on the different positions and their animal-themed names. Each yoga session will leave children relaxed and balanced. A great way to get rid of all that stress at school and kindergarten.
